The 2019, 2020 DEF delete kit for 6.7 Cummins Cab & Chassis is an All-in-One bundle built specifically for RAM 3500, 4500, and 5500 commercial-frame trucks with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. It combines an EFI Live AutoCal V3 tuner, custom ECU tuning, a T-409 stainless DPF/CAT Delete Pipe, and EGR valve and cooler removal hardware in one full package.

Unlike a standard pickup kit, this product is explicitly configured around Cab & Chassis exhaust routing, ECM strategy, frame layout, and available transmission options. It removes the applicable factory emissions hardware, modifies ECU operation for the new configuration, eliminates regeneration for the removed DPF, and provides a less restrictive exhaust path.

Vehicle Compatibility

The 6.7 Cummins C&C DEF delete kit is not interchangeable with hardware or tuning for RAM 2500 or 3500 pickup platforms. Cab & Chassis trucks can use different exhaust routing, fuel-tank positioning, ECU calibration, and supporting hardware. Some catalogs may still use Dodge/RAM terminology, but fitment must be confirmed by VIN, model, body configuration, transmission, and current exhaust setup.

Kit Components

Tuning & Performance

The tuning configuration is determined by the TCM option selected when ordering. This is important because ECM-only and ECM + TCM packages use different power levels and are not simply the same tune with an additional transmission file.

With TCM Tune: None, the truck receives ECM-only tuning with four SOTF settings from Stock through +130 hp. Selecting 68RFE or AISIN changes the package to matched ECM + TCM tuning and a fixed engine calibration of either 0 HP or +60 HP.

A TCM tune cannot simply be added later to the original ECM-only setup; converting later requires a new matched ECM + TCM tuning package. Higher power can increase demand on the engine, transmission, cooling and fuel systems, so vehicle condition, axle ratio, upfit weight and intended use should be considered. Actual torque, boost, fuel economy and performance vary by truck and operating conditions.

Installation

Complete the tuning before removing any factory emissions hardware. Confirm the VIN and transmission, connect the AutoCal V3, obtain the correct calibration, and successfully flash the ECU while maintaining stable battery voltage. For ECM + TCM configurations, install the matched engine and transmission files according to the supplied procedure.

Only after successful programming should you remove the factory aftertreatment section, install the C&C Delete Pipe, and complete the EGR valve and cooler removal. Typical installation is about 3-5 hours for the complete package, although service bodies, aftermarket tanks, corrosion, or other commercial upfits can increase the time required. Metric sockets, wrenches, extensions, a suitable lift or heavy-duty stands, and basic exhaust tools are normally required.
