The 2010-2018 Mercedes Sprinter DEF delete kit is an All-in-One package for supported Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vans with the 3.0L diesel engine and EDC17CP46 controller. It includes Bench-Flash Tuning and a 3-inch aluminized-steel Delete Pipe that replaces the factory DPF/SCR exhaust section and matches the ECU software to the modified emissions setup.

Coverage includes 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and compatible early 2018 vans. Some 2018 Sprinters use the newer 2019-style turbo direct pipe, which is not compatible with this package.

Vehicle Compatibility

The 2500, 3500 Sprinter DEF delete kit requires extra attention on 2018 vehicles. Vans with the updated 2019-style turbo direct pipe are not compatible.

Tuning & Performance

The 2010-2018 Sprinter Van DEF delete kit uses a fixed calibration selected when ordering.

The tune works with the exhaust modification so the ECU no longer expects normal operation of the removed DPF/DEF/SCR hardware. Removing the restrictive filter can improve flow and throttle response, while Stage 1 and Stage 2 provide the confirmed power increases.

The upgrade is intended to enhance engine performance without promising fixed fuel economy. Efficiency and reliability still depend on vehicle condition, load, maintenance, and driving style.

Installation

Before installing the DEF delete kit for Sprinter 2010-2018, resolve active emissions faults, complete a DPF regeneration if required, clear countdown conditions, and return a previously tuned ECU to factory calibration. Remove the original ECU and send it for Bench-Flash programming.

After the ECU is returned, reinstall it, fit the Delete Pipe, and follow the supplied procedure for the EGR, DPF, SCR, AdBlue sensors, and AdBlue/SCR module. An experienced DIY owner can perform the mechanical work, while difficult ECU access, corrosion, or diagnostic issues may require professional help. Current installation guidance specifically calls for the applicable emissions sensors to be disconnected and the AdBlue/SCR PCM removed as part of the completed setup.

The current product card has one selectable variation: Power Stage - Stock, Stage 1 (+40 HP), or Stage 2 (+50 HP). Confirm the model year, 3.0L engine, EDC17CP46 controller, and turbo-direct-pipe design on a 2018 van before purchase.

A prepaid label for the original ECU is valid for 60 days. Bench-Flash processing typically takes 4-6 business days after receipt, plus approximately 2-3 business days for return transit.

Bench-flash services and custom calibrations may become final sale once programming begins. Eligible physical returns generally require a request within 30 days of delivery, unused and uninstalled condition, original packaging, and an approved RMA. This package is intended for lawful off-road or racing use.
